Panther Ausf.D

  • Panther Ausf.D* turret number 334, Panzermuseum Thun, Switzerland. This tank is not technically an Ausf.D; it is a chimera of different Panther parts and reproduction peices. The hull is primarily an Ausf.D so it is included on this page. The turret most closely resembles an Ausf.A, despite the gun mantlet being very poorly made. Supposedly there are plans to restore this tank properly.
  • Panther Ausf.D turret number 534, Breda, The Netherlands. Tank sits outside but is in good condition. Front mud guards are missing.
  • Partial Panther Ausf.D turret, Motor Technica Museum Bad Oeynhausen, Germany. This turret had been recovered and left unrestored; the starboard side wall is missing. Since the Bad Oeynhausen Museum closed down in 2007 the current location of this turret is unknown, however the majority of the artifacts still remain at the abandoned museum.
